RetailCare is all about IT services for retailers. The core area of the retailers’ business and ERP is the Point Of Sale system. In addition to handling sales at front of store, the software connects to a terminal at the head office, allowing for the collection and assimilation of data from all store locations. This provides an invaluable tool for data analysis, aiding in forecasting and decision making on the running of the business from a day to day, month to month or long term perspective. RetailCare has developed a comprehensive Intranet for retailers to access and use in their stores. An intranet is an internal website within a business and provides access to countless areas of information around the day to day operations. As retail often attracts staff on casual or part-time arrangements, maintaining communication and consistency amongst staff members is often a problem that many retailers face. A casual staffer who only works once or twice a week may find it difficult to keep up with changes and to know exactly what is going on in the business that they should be aware of. Access to an intranet alleviates many of these communication problems. This intranet can be used on the web or a mobile device providing access to as many different facets of the business as required e.g. visual merchandising, rosters, company documents, CEO blogs, contact details, CRM, location details, forum groups and discussion areas. Our Intranet is flexible, adaptable to many different types of retail business from fashion outlets to fast food operations.
